It is with heavy hearts that the HNBA family sends the family of Uvaldo Herrera our condolences. Uvaldo, former HNBA General Counsel, Vice President of Programs and champion of the recently-named HNBA Annual Uvado Herrera Moot Court Competition, died yesterday, August 21, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Uvaldo Herrera was a Staff Director at State Farm Insurance Company, holding a variety of positions during his nearly three-decade career with the company. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and the DePaul University College of Law.
