Sean Andrade has experience in general commercial litigation, products liability and real estate law. His commercial litigation experience has involved taking cases from complaint to trial. He has litigated cases with allegations of breach of contract, breach of warranty, contract interpretation, piercing the corporate veil and fraud and unfair business practices.
Mr. Andrade has represented several manufacturers of motor vehicles in numerous commercial litigation matters pending in state and federal court and before the California New Motor Vehicle Board. He has also represented a large multinational financing company in a dozen creditors’ rights matters throughout California, which resulted in extremely favorable judgments and settlements for the client.
In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Andrade has developed a practice in legislative affairs. Prior to law school, he worked as a policy analyst for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, focusing on issues before the California Legislature. During law school, he served as an extern for U.S. Representative Lois Capps in Washington, D.C. Since law school, he has been involved in various pieces of legislation pending in the state and federal legislatures.
Mr. Andrade is a member of the National Board of Governors of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). He also serves as Regional President for the Southern California Region of the HNBA and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
While in law school, Mr. Andrade served as an extern to California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno when Justice Moreno was in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Andrade also served as a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Labor & Employment Law.
