Paperless, not Faceless: Violence Against Immigrant Women Symposium

Mar. 24 | Fort Lauderdale, FL – The purpose of the symposium was to help create awareness and provide aid to immigrant women who are victims of violence. Some of the topics that were covered included human trafficking, rape, domestic violence, and the options available to aid immigrant victims. Organized by Nova Law School’s HLSA, particularly its president Elizabeth Jimenez, this symposium comprised a panel of experts including survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking and rape.
