Nominate a Latina for the HNBA Latina Commission 4th Annual Latina Lawyer Award!

The HNBA’s Standing Commission on the Status of Latina’s in the Legal Profession (the “Latina Commission”) would like to request applications for the Latina Commission’s 4thAnnual Latina Lawyer Award (“the Commission’s Award”).  The purpose of the Commission’s Award is to continue the HNBA’s tradition of recognizing and honoring Latina pioneers who left their own unique mark on the legal profession by actively paving the road to success for the Latino community and/or other Latina lawyers!

The Commission’s Award will recognize Latinas who demonstrate excellence in a variety of professional settings and personify excellence at either the national, regional or local level.  Distinguished recipients of the Commission’s Award include Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor; Norma Ramos, Esq.,Executive Director Coalition Against Trafficking in Women; and the Honorable Rosemary Barkett, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
