The HNBA will host its Annual Corporate Counsel Conference at the Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta on March 13-16, 2013. This mega CLE conference will provide a unique setting to connect Corporate America and the HNBA, offering opportunities for outside counsel to meet representatives from numerous Fortune 500 Companies. Additionally, the 18th Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition will bring together over 30 law student teams from the Nation’s top law schools.

Online registration for the 2013 HNBA Annual Corporate Counsel Conference is now closed, but space is still available for you to register on site! Simply visit our registration desk located in the Grand Hyatt (Grand Ballroom – prefunction area, lower lobby level). HNBA registrations hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, March 13, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Thursday, March 14, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday, March 15, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Refund Policy: Requests for refunds for your registration must be received in writing by March 1st (full refund minus a $25 administration fee). Any requests received after this date will be subject to a 50% refund. Refunds will be processed AFTER the event.

Awards

The HNBA is seeking nominations for the 2013 HNBA Top Lawyers Awards. These awards will be presented at the the Gala Dinner on March 15, 2013, during the conference in Atlanta. Recipients will be profiled on the HNBA website and in one or more HNBA publications including the HNBA’s Newsletter: Noticias. Nominations must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on Friday, December 14, 2012.

VOLUNTEER JUDGES
The HNBA needs lawyers and judges to score written briefs (briefs will be sent out Feb. 12) and serve as oral argument judges for the 18th Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition. This moot court competition will be held in conjunction with the Annual Corporate Counsel Conference March 13-16, 2013, in Atlanta, GA. Volunteer judges will have the opportunity to interact with the finest advocates that the nation’s law schools have to offer. The rounds will be held on Thursday, March 14th and Friday, March 15th from 9am to 5pm at the Buckhead Grand Hyatt Hotel. Judges may serve multiple rounds if they desire. Individuals interested in judging should indicate their available time slots using the sign up sheets below:

Volunteers

HNBA is looking for reliable, dependable, and resourceful students!
We ask for a commitment of 10 hours minimum, in exchange for the ability to attend all Conference CLEs and events at no charge. A mandatory volunteer orientation will take place on Tuesday, March 15th at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. Law students who fulfill their commitment of hours have the Conference registration fee waived, and may attend parts of the conference during which they are not scheduled to work as our guest.
