This position is responsible for the promoting and selling of Universal Studios Hollywood’s Educational & Recreational Programs to Schools and Youth groups with a targeted focused on grades K- 12. The candidate in this role will report to and work closely with the Director Group Sales and be accountable for expanding Universal’s saturation within the existing client base as well as establishing new clientele.

• Building and developing client relationships within the Youth & Education Market in order to exceed attendance & revenue goals

• Conducting outside sales calls to clients to increase awareness and ticket sales to Universal Studios Hollywood

• Identifying and creating new sales opportunities within the Youth & Education Markets

• Implementing new business strategies to drive ticket sales and generate revenue

• Attending various tradeshows, vendor fares, & conferences

• Preparing weekly reports to evaluate and communicate channel performance

• Supplying Director Sales with current data and trends identified during course of business utilized to assist in strategic decisions

• Developing sales plan and implementing tactics

• Maintaining a working knowledge of the annual budget

• Identifying high volume customers eligible to sign up for contracted program discounts

• Managing the administration and distribution process of client contracts

• Partnering with Creative, Finance, and Operating teams to ensure successful execution of sales programs



• Minimum 5 years experience in Sales

• General knowledge of K – 12 Schools and Non Profit Youth Organizations

• Computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint



• Must have reliable transportation and able to conduct sales calls in Southern California

• Bachelor’s in Business or Sales/Marketing

• Demonstrated track-record of successful customer services skills

• Proven success in developing client relationships and managing accounts

• Ability to effectively prioritize and determine accurate product to customer need

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Creative, out of the box thinker

• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and be able to wear ‘multiple hats” and multi task

• Self-motivated

• Outgoing, positive attitude

• Team player, willing to jump in to assist teammates when needed
