Professional Affiliations
Peter M. Reyes, Jr. is a Senior Intellectual Property Lawyer at Cargill, Inc. He works with a number of Cargill business units in the U.S., Europe and Latin America and is the Regional Intellectual Property Coordinator for Latin America. Prior to working at Cargill, Peter was an Associate at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi and a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Salvador M. Rosas in Ramsey County, MN.
Volunteer/Bar positions or Affiliations
Peter is involved in a number of community, nonprofit, and professional organizations. He is currently on the Board of Trustees for William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Neighborhood Justice Center, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery Peter is actively involved in the Cargill Law Diversity Committee, and is a founding member and current President of the Cargill Hispanic-Latino Council.
Peter is involved in a number of local, state, and national bar associations. He is a past three-term President of the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association. He is also involved in the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association (including as a past Board Member), the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Bar Association.

Peter was the recipient of the HNBA’s Regional President of the Year Award in October 2007.
Peter was named by Minnesota Lawyer as one of the “Top Ten Minnesota Attorneys of the Year” in 2001.

Education
Peter is licensed to practice before Minnesota State and Federal Courts. He is also a Registered Patent Attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Peter received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of St. Thomas and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, graduating with Honors.
