Attorney Dantes-Sanchez is the Managing Attorney of the Law Offices of Maria C. Dantes-Sanchez in Miami and Boca Raton, Florida. She was admitted to practice in 1987 and joined Liberty Mutual the same year. In addition to managing the office, Attorney Dantes-Sanchez practices in the areas of auto and general liability, declaratory judgment, premises liability and construction litigation. She has also handled products liability matters as well as wrongful death litigation.

Prior to entering law school Attorney Dantes-Sanchez was a legal assistant in Liberty Mutual’s legal office in Miami. Upon graduating she practiced as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Department of Justice before returning to Liberty Mutual.

Attorney Dantes-Sanchez received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Nova University School of Law, where she was the editor of the law review, on the Dean’s List. Maria received various academic awards and served as Associate Editor for Nova Law Review. As a member of the Law Review Journal, she authored an article titled: “The Anticipation of Litigation Issues under F.R.C.P. 1.280″, which published in the Nova Law Review in 1986. She was a member of the Department of Justice’s Honors Program. While at Nova University she received the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Ethics and was listed in Who’s Who Among American Law Students.
