HNBA Legislative Day & Capital Awards Dinner Wednesday, May 7, 2008

The HNBA Legislative Day will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. This event provides HNBA members with an opportunity to get a “behind the scenes” look at the nation’s capital, including one-on-one meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. Registration is free to HNBA members. The registration deadline is April 25, 2008.

In conjunction with Legislative Day, the HNBA will hold its Capital Awards Dinner on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill (400 New Jersey Avenue, NW) from 6:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. This event will provide a great opportunity for private attorneys, in-house counsels, and business professionals to exchange ideas and network. During the dinner, HNBA will honor various Members of Congress, including:

• Senator Mel R. Martinez
• Senator Robert Menendez
• Senator Ken Salazar
• Congressman Xavier Becerra
• Congresswoman Ileana Ros Lehtinen

Additionally, HNBA will also honor Robert Raben and the Raben Group, in recognition of their long-term and continuing contributions to the Latino community.
