The HNBA’s Annual Legislative Day and Capital Awards Dinner was held in Washington, D.C. from Tuesday, May 10 through Wednesday, May 11, 2011.
Legislative Day was a great opportunity for HNBA members to convene in Washington DC, meet with Members of Congress and advocate on key legislative and policy issues impacting the Hispanic community. This year’s topics included: Comprehensive Immigration Reform including the DREAM Act, and Diversity among the Judiciary and Executive Branch.
