Krista Contino Krahn
Krista Contino Krahn is an associate with Morrison & Foerster. She has significant experience in patent prosecution, client counseling, and litigation support for high-technology clients. She has represented clients involved in digital signal processing, computer hardware, semiconductors and semiconductor processing, mobile devices, communications protocols, databases, and e-commerce applications.
Ms. Krahn received a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1999. Upon graduation, she worked for Procter & Gamble as an electrical process engineer. She then ran a consulting business specializing in web-based marketing and technical writing.
Ms. Krahn is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2007 cum laude. While in school, Ms. Krahn was a Foreign Language Area Studies Fellow, receiving funding through the U.S. Department of Education. She served on the executive boards of the Journal of Law and Commerce and the Hispanic Law Student Association.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster in 2009, Ms. Krahn was an associate in the Twin Cities office of Fish & Richardson. She currently serves on the board of governors for the Hispanic National Bar Association as a deputy regional president. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota, and is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
