HNBA Region XIV Co-Hosts CLE, “Data Privacy and the Protection of Confidential Information”
Feb. 29 | Scottsdale, AZ – HNBA Region XIV and the law firm of Bryan Cave LLP hosted 50 guests at a CLE panel titled “Data Privacy and the Protection of Confidential Information: What every legal and business professional should know”. The panel discussion addressed critical data privacy and trade secret protection issues that business face. Topics included protecting intellectual property, drafting and enforcing confidentiality and non-compete agreements, restrictive covenants and more. The panelists were Exponent President and Group Vice President Robert Lange, Bryan Cave Intellectual Property Associate PJ Rivera, and Bryan Cave Labor and Employment Partner Jay Zweig. Bryan Cave Partner Steven Hirsch and Region XIV President Tom Tollison moderated the discussion.
Guests included in-house counsel and professionals from LifeLock, Honeywell, Henkel, U-Haul, Oxford Life Insurance, Exponent, Advanced Integration Technologies, Amerco Real Estate, Associated Radiologists, LTD., Elizabeth Arden Spas and Nexus Insurance, as well as law students from Phoenix School of Law and Arizona State University School of Law.
