HNBA 36th Annual Convention Call for Volunteers

The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) is looking for Volunteers who are:
Reliable, Dependable, and Resourceful for the HNBA 36th Annual Convention.

When: August 31 – September 3, 201

Where: Dallas Sheraton, 400 North Olive Street, Dallas, TX 75201

We ask for a commitment of 10 hours minimum, in exchange for the ability to attend all Convention CLEs and events at no charge. A mandatory volunteer orientation will take place on Tuesday, August 30th at the Dallas Sheraton. In the two weeks prior to that date we will have a preliminary conference call, please provide us the day(s) you are available and your full contact information. Volunteer agreement and convention agenda are available to download by clicking on the links below. Law students who fulfill their commitment of hours have the Convention registration fee waived, and may attend parts of the convention during which they are not scheduled to work as our guest. Volunteers report directly to the HNBA Events Director, and may be supervised by other HNBA Staff and the HNBA Executive Director.

Attendees will have the opportunity to obtain CLE credits in a wide variety of topics. Job seekers will have ample time to share their résumés at the Career Fair featuring representatives from top-notch law firms, government agencies and corporations. The HNBA Annual Convention supports and honors our Latino/Hispanic colleagues as we present awards recognizing our finest Latino leaders.
