Hada is a senior litigation member in Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem office. Hada’s practice focuses on the defense of class actions of all types and on product liability defense.
Hada was an inaugural recipient of the North Carolina Bar Association Citizen Lawyer Award in 2007, primarily in recognition of her work on Critical Terms in Criminal Proceedings in Spanish and English, a handbook designed to assist lawyers who serve the Hispanic community.
Hada’s community service work includes service on the Chief Justice’s Commission on the Future of the North Carolina Business Court, the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc, the Novant Health Triad Region Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of the Winston-Salem Symphony Association.
Hada was listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, 2008 and North Carolina Super Lawyers, 2007;
Hada received her J.D., with high honors, in 1981 from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the staff of the Law Review. Hada received her B.A. in 1970 from the College of William and Mary and her M.S. in 1973 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
