Commissions Report Committee
The Commission was created by Immediate Past HNBA President Ramona Romero who appointed Dolores Atencio and Clarissa Cerda as its first Co-Chairs. All former (at the time, five) HNBA female presidents were appointed as life-time members of the Commission.
As a working Commission, each Commissioner serves on at least one of the Commission’s committees. The Co-Chairs are responsible for ensuring that the work of all committees is accomplished and serve as chairs of all Committees. The Commission conducts regular meetings via phone conferences and will host three in-person meetings this year, including at the San Diego Mid-Year Convention; in June (TBD); and at the Annual Convention in September in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
