Description:  The Business Manager is a supervisory position responsible for establishing and reviewing the region’s management objectives and implementing processes to ensure the effective administration of the office operations. Incumbent advises the Regional Director on appropriate resource allocation requirements and projections to ensure that mission objectives are accomplished. Formulates, develops and implements policies and programs with respect to the region’s overall budget, human resources, and office administration. Incumbent is also responsible for conducting analysis and advising the Regional Director on risks and issues as they relate to budget, human resources, and the overarching administration of the Atlanta Regional Office.

Qualifications: Qualifying experience for the SK-17 level — Candidate must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/SK-14 level planning, organizing, and directing activities related to operations, strategic issues, process improvement, and workforce efficiency; serving as an expert authority on financial and human capital management; conducting complex process improvement studies on workflow, business processes, and communication; and developing innovative resolutions to highly complex, sensitive, and unresolved issues.

Salary Range:  $124,491 – $194,933.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
