2012 Mid-Year Conference & 17th Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition

The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) hosted its Third Annual Midyear Corporate Counsel Conference in Jersey City, NJ from March 28th – 31st, 2012. The gathering provided a unique setting to connect Corporate America and the HNBA, offering opportunities for outside counsel to meet counsel from numerous Fortune 500 Companies. In parallel and in conjunction, the HNBA conducted its 17th Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition, bringing together law students from the nation’s top law schools with its co-sponsor of the competition, the HNBA Legal Education Fund. The Moot Court offered law students the opportunity to hone their brief-writing and oral advocacy skills while exploring a complex legal issue, and to form relationships with judges and practitioners.
