Washington, D.C. – The HNBA announced today that it will recognize Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-NY), Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez (IL-4) as its 2010 Capital Awards Recipients. The HNBA will hold its Legislative Day and Capital Awards Dinner on May 12, 2010 in Washington, DC.
March 17, 2010 – Law students representing 32 of the nation’s top law schools gathered at the University of San Diego School of Law on March 5-6, 2010 to participate in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) 15th Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition.
March 17, 2010 – The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), a national partner of the Ya es Hora ¡Hagase Contar! Campaign, is committed to calling for full participation in Census 2010. Today, HNBA will be part of the Latino 2010 Census Summit to be held in the U.S. Capitol. As the current National President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), I write with an important request of you, our esteemed colleagues on state and federal courts at all levels. First, I will briefly describe the HNBA, in the event that you are not so familiar with the organization. I will then proceed to describe the HNBA’s request of you.

Obama met with Senators Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) as yet another step to establish common ground for forging a solution to one of America’s greatest challenges, comprehensive immigration reform. It will hold its first-ever Corporate Counsel Conference on March 4-6, 2010 in San Diego, California. “Never before has the HNBA partnered with Corporate America on a program such as this.
